DISQ DAILY ROUTINE

Turning heads in 2019, Madison, Wisconsin teenagers Disq have already experienced accolades including Stereogum's 'Band To Watch' as well as cooking up some serious hype at last year's industry favourite SXSW Festival. Now signed to Saddle Creek (home to the likes of Big Thief, Hand Habits and many more) Disq's first release for the label is wry, uncompromising and increasingly chaotic. Straddling the line between Pavement's seminal slacker rock and Weezer's angsty, tongue-in-cheek lyrics 'Daily Routine' takes a cold hard look at the struggles of modern life. Steered by an imminently-imploding sense of increasingly social anxiety vocalist/guitarist Isaac deBroux-Slone explains: “It’s such a weird time for young people all over right now. It feels sometimes like that’s the only thing to write about.” -Holly Mullineaux
